Today was very relaxing. We resupplied our lunch stash at the Co-op and shopped for boots. Everything has to be done in the morning as the shops close for the first half of the afternoon. The sport shop had a limited number of boots and not the brand that really works for me. The boots I purchased would be very uncomfortable for the rest of the trip.
Mürren is such a lovely, charming, little village. We had a pleasant stroll through the streets.
A church chimed the hour with a beautiful session of ringing bells.
We gathered together a picnic lunch and took the funicular up to Allmendhubel to enjoy the view and eat our lunch.
The next morning (after an enjoyable day sightseeing and a relaxing evening) we were again ready for the challenges to come!
