Today we left the easy bit behind and got into the challenging mountains. We left from Brauneck which has stunning views of the Alps to the south and a birdseye view to the north towards Munich. There was a bit of over excitement and incorrect map reading which lead to us to not only climbing up two pretty tough (but fun) knobs, but an even bigger third one to the top of Benedikenwand. We finally realized our error which called for some refiguring to get down the mountain to dinner and a warm bed. We arrived in the village of Jachenau at 7PM!
